Week 1 Challenge :)

Challenge 1: Drink AT LEAST 8 glasses of water EACH DAY this week.
Do 20 jumping jacks for every glass you don't drink a day. (ie. If you drink 6 glasses of water that day, that's 2 under - so do 40 jumping jacks.. and so on for each day of the week.)
Do 10 jumping jacks for every extra glass of water you drink a day. (ie. if you drink 12 glasses of water that day, that's 4 extra, so do 40 jumping jacks...and so on for each day of the week.)
For those who have health problems and can't do jumping jacks so well - pick something else; push ups, crunches, whatever can be counted and WHATEVER WORKS FOR YOU! Know your limits, but at the same time, get some movement in!
Keep track of how many glasses of water you drank, and how many jumping jacks (or modified workouts) you did! We will tally at the end of the week!
The person who drinks the most water, and the person who does the most jumping jacks (or modified workouts) both get to be "Motivator of the week!"
Now what is "Motivator of the Week"? It's just something I thought would help motivate you guys! Whoever wins Motivator of the Week, each week, get's their username on the homepage of the blog. I don't know about you, but I will feel SUPER motivated if I got my name on the front page of a weight loss motivation group It just means you're doing a great job! And it also means that you definitely KICKED BUTT with your weekly challenge!
I'm sure ALL of you will do an AMAZING job! DRINK UP!
Remember, being honest to this website is being honest to yourself!
At the end of the week, next Wednesday, I will ask you guys to weigh in! In that same post I'll ask you to tell me how many jumping jacks (or modified workouts) and how much water you drank that week (I'll have you tell me how much you drank EACH day, no temptations to drink it all on Tuesday and say you did throughout the week) Then I'll figure out who the Motivator of the Week was
From there, is a new challenge!
And check back regularly for Daily challenges or updates!
Happy weight-loss! and GOOD LUCK!
If anyone needs to talk to me personally, add/message me!!

I love water challenges!
I'll come back and edit this post as I go along to keep track
Day 1: 4 glasses0 -
This is great because I have been drinking far too much diet soda lately!
One thing though, what constitutes "a glass of water"? I usually drink poland spring bottles and I want to make sure I am doing it right0 -
Oh and I will update this post too to keep track of everything

I assume by glass she means the typical 8oz of water that constitutes a serving, so you'll just have to see how many are in each of your poland spring bottles0 -
This post I can edit but not the other... what up MFP?0 -
Day 1 / March 1: 2.5 glasses of water0
-
Such a great weekly challenge! I'm constantly forgetting to drink plenty of water!
I like the added bonus of Jumping jacks! Can't really do them here at the office so I'm sure my husband will get a kick out if once I'm home jumping around like mad. HA!
Thanks for doing this challenge!0 -
I love this challenge! One thing that I'm counting as water is my Slimquick diet supplement. It's just one of those flavored water powder things that increases your metabolism and curbs your appetite.0

Yes! By glass I mean the usual 8 oz. But a bottle of water or a glass is all good. As long as you aren't trying to get off with drinking 8 shot glasses of water - it's fine!0 -

Great job everyone!! I'm glad to see you're all so motivated!
One thing I wanted to add, IF you drink EXACTLY the 8 glasses of water - do 30 jumping jacks!!
All in all, the point is to drink extra water and do extra jumping jacks!0 -
Yay challenges is what I need Only just received these challenges so will have to spread my day to tomorrow. How many hours in front are you from the uk?

I'm also gonna do the 10 jumping jacks, but also add in crunches and planks (10 seconds) for each over0 -
