Yes that is right I have figured it out. I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up! I seem to have a nack for physical fitness and motivating others. I have developed a passion for fitness during my weight loss / fitness journey and decided last month to share what I have learned with 20 individuals who were in the Unsatisfactory category for military physical fitness testing. In just one month I have helped 4 people pass, 3 into the satisfactory category and one into the excellent category. I am so proud of their efforts!
Being a miltary veteran/retiree I felt it was my responsibility to help them succeed. Since I was able to do it for myself I had a pretty good Idea of what would work for them as well. I am thinking with all of the exciting changes taking place in my life I would go back to school and get my BS in Athletic Training. The post 911 GI bill is available for me and would pay for my school and a stipend on top of that.

Well I've been a nurse since I graduated high school and I love it ...... But if I could do what I truely wanted I would probably be a martial arts instructor..... but I have to get back into practice and finish getting my belts first..0

I am only a 900 hour internship away from my Master's in Mental Health Counseling. Stupid unpaid internship that I can't do because I have to work.
I want to be a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and get my PhD in Counseling Psychology. 0 -

Congrats on your decision - and thank you for serving our country, my gratitude goes to you. As for me I, at almost 40 still have no idea what I want to be. I am in the middle of getting ready for an interview with our highway patrol to be a dispatcher. That would be at least more entertaining than the clerical crap I do now0

I still haven't figured out what I wanna be when I grow up. I figure as long as the military is still fun, I'll keep on til they force me to retire. Or til I meet my millionaire, lol!0 -
I started out wanting to be a high school football coach, then figured out I couldn't do the other things I wanted, so I went the corporate route. I still plan on going back to that when I retire, which will be relatively soon.
I've also considered opening a gym, but need to get the right things to fall in place for that to happen.0 -

That's great! I completed a Masters in Psychotherapy in 2008 and have never looked back. I had difficulty getting my clinical hours too, partly due to work but also my kids were quite young then. I've thought about going down the counselling psychology route or doing a PhD, not sure I'm ready to return to academia yet. I do some lecturing and quite a bit of clinical supervision, that's keeping me busy for now.
