Hi everyone, I am so glad I found this site and IP message board! I have been on IP diet since November with little weight loss but it's big to me! I have lost only 10 pounds but it's big for me because I have hypothyroidism and have been trying to get my meds on tract. When I get hungry, I make myself a cup of green tea with a pack of Spenda in it. Green tea is supposed to help with weight loss. If you need recipe's, check out Ideal Protein-Lohja, Finland. They have a lot of different recipe's. I love the waffles made from IP Butterscotch Pudding and use the Walden Farm caramel syrup to dip them in if needed.
  • Hi everyone - I am so glad I have found this site and IP board. I have been on and off IP and want to stick with it. I get tired of the same food and there are some items that when I open the IP package I get nausious... Looking for help and some butt kicking to stay focused!

Hi All, I started IP in July 2010 and lost 44 lbs. I stopped IP before I reached my goal weight and I got derailed due to health issues- AND I gained some weight back late last year. Well I'm back on IP as of today! Enough is enough! What's great now is I'm seeing more people doing IP (just met 2 people at work doing it). I plan on doing at least 5 days of 20-30 workouts- nothing crazy! As long as we more right?!

I think it's harder the second time around because you are ticked off because you didn't finish the program and you gained some weight back. Well, no looking back, this is day 1… yet again. FYI, I used myfitnesspal in 2010 for my food log for IP- it’s so helpful re looking at the daily reports re carbs, sodium, fat, etc. I can actually run a report for the 1st month I was on IP (when I was successful), and eat those products/foods.
  • I'm into week 2 of IP. I'm surviving but I find I don't have enough energy to work out. I was spinning twice a week and doing Yoga three times a week before I started IP. I tried spinning on Monday and almost died! Made it through the class but by mid-afternoon I had NO energy at all! When will I be able to go back to my exercise routine?

I was told by my coach no working out the first month of the diet. You could probably do some light exercise, but I would definitely talk to your coach first, and see what they say.

    Good luck!
  • Thanks Missedythe. Week 2 almost over and I'm feeling much stronger. My doc did advise me not to do spinning during the first phase. Maybe I'll try yoga. But I'll definitely talk to her first. Thanks for the advice :)
