Hey Again!

How did your goals from last week go and what are your goals for this week?

Mine look basically the same as last week, and I am feeling better so I really hope I can stick with them and get back to swimming. Today, someone from my swim team said "oh, you used to swim with us right?!" factoring in how horrid most of the people are on my team, I think that is a sign I should get back to it-barring health concerns!

so mon, weds, sat run (36 minutes)
tues, thurs swim, spin, weights
friday spin/swim
sunday break or swim/spin weights depending on what the other part of the week looks like

be extra vigilent re. food this week might be a bit tough.

oki doki-all the best y'all!

    Good luck Leesseebee.

I hit all my targets this past week and came in at 11 hours of training topped off yesterday with my longest ride of the year at 65 miles.
This week, work and family commitments will get in the way a bit so I'm going to have to take each day as it comes but by the end of the week I should have at least 12 hours banked.

I was out before 6am this morning for a 90 minute run, I follow thi up tonight with a 30 min recovery run home.

Food wise : keep making good choices, keep filling in my diary.

It's 11 weeks till ironman and the lighter I can get the less I'll suffer :-)

    Have a good week everyone.

Looks like some great goals for the week.

    Sun--hiked for 40 minutes
    Mon weights, walk 2 miles
Tues spin 60 min walk 1 mile
    Wed-weights walk 2 miles
Thurs spin 60 min walk 1 mile
    Fri swim 2000yards, weights
On the weekends the only goal I have is to do weights on Sat if I skipped them on Fri. I enjoy recrecrating on the weekends and doing what I want to do for a change. That usually involves a bike ride out doors, hiking, tennis, yoga or yes...even a rest day :)

I am going to try logging all of my food in the mornings for the day, and reconcile in the evening to see if it keeps me on track. I will continue to make healthy choices during the week. Getting to be easier now the farmers market is beginning to look colorful again! Have a great week everyone!

Thanks! I need this solid week of training. Falling off the wagon is not fun. It's like the rest of my body is screaming to go workout while one part is holding the group back.

I just joined this group. I have signed up to do my first tri in Aug (Sprint Length). I just got back from a 17 day vacation and really need to get my butt in gear. My goal this week is to just come up with a workable training schedule. I am so behind at work, so I know I am going to be so busy and exhausted this week, but I'd like to run and bike at least twice each this week & some strength training. And next week I will add swimming.
