ok so i have a bday party coming up for my aunt this weekend. my family for the most part has not embraced primal but see my results and they are all picky eaters and really annoying! so to get back at them, i want to bring some goodies to eat for the party. i was planning on bringing calamari (squid) pan seared in butter and garlic wrapped in bacon. but what are some other primal appetizers or finger foods that will really make a splash and be different an freak people out just a little bit, but not so out there that they wont get eaten?

From Paleo Comfort Foods cook book
Sausage Balls
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 1/2 pounds ground pork sausage
6 oz. pitted green olives (good ones)
mix pepper flakes into ground pork - use about a tablespoon of sausage to wrap the olive, pinch to seal cracks - heat frying pan to medium-high and cook the sausage, turning frequently.
These got eaten up quickly at a Super Bowl party. I made a quick mustard sauce to go with it but they are good plain.0 -
I found this (avocado stuffed with goat cheese wrapped in prosciutto) on pinterest. It's supposed to be a Halloween recipe, but to me it just looks beautiful and delicious!
