Best 30 day shred?

Joined this group hoping to hear HOW to do a 30 day shred :)
Really want to get stuck into my fitness after essays are due.
I want to do a lot of toning (stomach area especially) and lose about 5-7 kgs.

So how much exercise does this actually entail?

    Hi reenmelbs! We are doing Jillians 30 day shred dvd. It entails 20 mins exercise (and a quick warm up/cool down) Jillians dvd is set out into 3 6 six minute circuits. 3 mins strength, 2 mins cardio and 1 min abs in each circuit. It doesn't sound like a lot but its quite a tough workout and I have personally seen fantastic results when I've completed all 30 days in the past. All you need is the dvd I believe its around $10 in the us and £6 in the UK, a set of hand weights (I use 5lbs) ad a mat if you work out on a hard floor. I hope this helps x

    i LOVE the 30 day shred. (i'm spending a little more time in each level to make sure i get the maximum benefits that i can). but i've lost 8lbs so far and i've only been doing it for two weeks! i'm not sure how many calories per workout because i got my fitbit yesterday after i was already finished working out for the day. =] awesome work out =]
  • I am looking forward to re-starting, I was going to start yesterday but I did get the chance as my son was awake most of the night. So today becomes day one. I am hoping to see some great progress after 30 days too. I love the fact that it is only 30 minutes a night and i am getting a great burn:)
