Ok peeps registration for Run for the kids opens today (http://www.runforthekids.com.au/r4k/)

Who's in? It's Sunday 1st April

Half of your entry fee will go to the Royal Children's Hospital

    entries are filling up fast (they already hve 30,000 apparently), so if you want to do this, you better do it asap.

    i've already signed up for it.

    surely with all these aussies, there must be someone else in melb/vic who is doing it.

    I'm not, but I would love to aim to be able to do it next year, I just ran my first 1km non stop so hopefully could do 5km by then! (and if not I'm sure I could walk the rest lol)

    Which one are you doing?

    I'm doing the 5.2km.

    Next year I will be aiming to do the 15.4.

    I'm training at the moment to do 10k. As I plan on doing the 10km in Run Melbourne in July.

    In October I plan well hoping to do the Melb Marathon 1/2 Marathon.

    Hey everyone, I am doing R4K for the first time this year. I have been training hard around Strathmore. I did two 10km funruns in the past four months, but this will be my longest run ever and I just hope to finish it and run all the way. ;-)
