    Day 2 complete....
  • My arms are killing me from yesterday. Should I just not use the weights as much for today's workout or try and work through it?

Day 2 complete! Oh my poor sore legs :(

I don't feel any soreness in my abs or arms though so I had to kick up the weights to 5 lbs. I should be feeling that tomorrow! Just hope I can walk...yikes.

This was actually my Day 3 - I have heard from a number of people that the first three days are the hardest. I agree. But I am already noticing a difference in my endurance and strength.

I know I'm posting this on the Day 2 post, but I didn't know if I was allowed to start a Day 3 post?:ohwell:

awesome work! you sure can start another post, why not... ? :))
  • Done! My legs are screaming but it was definitely easier than yesterday.

I did it a little earlier. The fronts of my thighs and my shins are killing me, I mean on FIRE! Jumping rope and squatting did not feel good...at all! I hope the people who said this gets easier a few days in are right. I wanted to shut it off today, but I didn't. Can't wait to see what pain tomorrow brings! It will all be worth it in the end!

Day 2 was done this evening. Had to make myself but glad I did. 28 days more!
  • First day was ok, second day was easier but hurt a little more =/ I thought after not really any aches and pains from day one day 2 I wouldnt have any either. Well, I was wrong! Today is day 3 for me! Im excited for a change finally. I could never really stick to any exercise before but with MFP I feel like I have support and something to look forward to, getting online and sharing my weight loss (when it comes lol)
  • I think I pulled something in my chest because I am having a difficult time doing the chest presses and push ups. UGH! Or maybe I just worked a new muslce. Even still...I am loving the shred!

Did Day 2 last night when I got home. I have to say it was a little easier than Day 1, but my calfs are feeling it today, and I need to work up to those pushups, yikes!

Just finished Day 2! Had to muster up the motivation to do it but I did it! In my exercise log it says that I only burned 184 calories...is that accurate?!? Seems like such HARD work just to burn 184. : /

seems right, my HRM say I only burn about 130 WITH adding weights during carido intervals.

Day 2 of 30 Day Shred: Level 1. It was still brutal, but I was able to get through the cardio section without stopping. The push-ups are proving to be very difficult, since I have a bad knee. I am considering wall push-ups, since I don't have enough cartilage in my knee to do the modified push-up. On a positive note: I didn't die! Whahoo!
