I know it's been spoken about before but it never gets done!
Austin is a neat place to check out!! Just saying....
Lots to do during the day outdoors to burn some calories then there's an awesome night life here.

I have a school friend in Austin and an open invitation to visit and a place to stay. :happy:0
-
which one??
San Marcos one?
Or New Braunfels?0 -
Peeps are welcome to crash on my couch as well.. well as long as I know you.0
-
Do it soon, make it an annual thing and I'll come next year I promise, I'll fly all the way to yours for a party!0
-
My brother is in Austin...perfect reason to go visit!!! ha ha ha0
-
Off topic but I'm about to move closer to downtown and am SO SO excited. I'll be downgrading to an older, much cheaper, smaller apt but it'll be all mine that I chose just for me and my doggy. Plus I'll be close to Town Lake and I'm sure I'll be there often. I'll be able to ride my pink cruiser bike to the store, the lake, coffee shop.. Yay!0
-
I think Austin is a BIT more doable than the Cruise we were all talking about last time!!0
-
Whatever has less rocks.. we did some place that had the word "fish" in it. Was awesome!0
-
Ooo....Austin is on my bucket list. And so close!0
-
Oooohhh Austin....then I might never leave....0

I should be able to pull off a weekend, May or late July/early August work best for me.0

I had a bad experience several years ago tubing in the San Marcos river in the little bitty rapids (:ohwell:) and have been terrified ever since. I almost drowned. The rapids are tiny. I just have bad luck apparently.0

Yeah I'm poor so the cruise is a maybe for me. I'm starting school back up soon and I have to save my pennies. (though I forget I'm poor on the weekends  )
I'll be moving early May so later on in the month or anytime after is good for moi.
Or April.. right around the corner.... :flowerforyou:0 -
Austin's fun. Haven't been there in about 10 years.0
-
I need a vacation to anywhere at this point! I could probably make Austin happen. :happy:0

Yeah!!!
I mean I could go somewhere but I'm biased. And those of you that do know Austin know it's a pretty awesome place, to at least visit.
I am in love with this city!0 -

:ohwell: :brokenheart: :sad:0 -
Austin is also pretty central so no one has to fly all the way across the country (at least east to west).0
-
I LOVE Austin; I'll make any excuse to get up there!0
-
Austin sounds so much fun. I was there about 5 years ago and I seriously considered just moving there. I loved it!0

Very good point, but Austin's airport isn't a hub for any airline, so those flying to Austin would probably have a stop elsewhere.0 -

As is Houston. The hub city thing wouldn't be an issue for me, so I think Austin is a good idea. Austin is a short drive from Dallas.0 -
As is London....0

Southwest, Delta, and American all fly into Austin.0 -
Even though Dallas is only a drive, I'd opt for Austin over Dallas.0
