Hi - I purchase a bulk of Medifast products via ebay & will soon be attempting the program without an official "coach" or instructions. I could use some advice first of all on what the heck it is I'm supposed to be doing other than 5 Medifast meals a day and 1 Lean & Green.

Also, I have a quantity of chicken noodle soup & beef soup to work with. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to spice up those packaged "meals" to make it more like real food.

I love to cook so Medifast is going to be an interesting journey. My goal is to lose 60 lbs.

Thanks for any advice or suggestions!

Hi: Check out the website, where all the details of the program are available, along with message boards.

    http://www.medifast1.com/index (main website)

    http://mymedifast.com/medifast/guests/login.asp (community)

I like this interface (MFP) much better. But both of these sites will help you get the hang of Medifast. It's amazingly simple. And it works. I first tried it in the late 80s when it was doctor-prescribed and had two shakes plus 500 calories of something low-fat (Lean Cuisine). It is vastly improved.

I've kept the weight off for years but then some life event derails me and I decide not to have any discipline ... So I've used it several times over the past 25+ years.

    Good luck!
  • Thanks for the links! I appreciate it. I've found & have printed out some recipes. Now, time to organize the kitchen and refrigerator to support my start later this week!
