Well, love, as you know, I've lost 34 lbs so far. I'm very happy with this! And I have to say, it's definitely made a HUGE difference on my back. I don't get the huge spikes of pain I used to get on a daily basis. After the first 20 fell off, it was immediately easier to walk and to be at work. I still took it slow with the exercise but now I can actually run intervals of 30-60 seconds on the treadmill and I've upped my exercise time from 30 minutes max to 65 minutes at the gym and another 20 at home with a DVD. MFP has made a HUGE difference in my life. Being able to see how much food "costs" in calories and fat and sodium and carbs is just.... priceless to me. I am amazed whenever I look up something I used to eat on a regular basis and I see how awful it is. I make better decisions now based on what I've learned from this website and everyone on it. I still have stiff days and painful days when the weather acts up (rainy weather and when it gets colder out... oh my gosh that messes with me), but it's not that crippling white pain it used to be. It's more of an annoyance and I have to stretch every few hours to loosen up again. I can't believe how much better I am right now at only 22% through my weight loss. I can't even imagine now much better it's going to be a year from now when I'm at/approaching my goal!!! How about you KIM? How are you doing?

I am doing great! I have lost 14lbs so far and I love how MFP makes me accountable for what I eat. I feel great and I am in the gym 4-5 times a week. I'm actually disappointed when I miss a day. I am currently training for my first 5K in May; so I am trying to build up my endurance to running. I'm just anticipating what I'll look like in May! I am so excited by my continuing progress!

You both are AWESOME! I am so glad that I have friends like you on here. It is what this site is all about and that is why I love it. I agree with HHR that I never could have done this without MFP. It is so amazing to see how quickly that horrible food adds up. Any time I really start craving something that I used to eat I just look it up on here. Once I see the stats, its really easy to not want to eat it anymore. I have tried to do this on my own but could usually only make it about 1-2 months before giving up. Today is my 100th day on here! And I have not gone over my calories since day 1! I am so proud at what I have accomplished in those 100 days. As of this morning, I am down 39.2 pounds! I just finished my first 5K and I am training for another one in April. I am really focusing on trying to improve my time. I also just completed my longest run without stopping on Saturday. I made it a whole 1/2 mile! Which is a HUGE improvement from my 1/8 mile before that. I am so proud of all of us for taking charge and getting it done! I am so much happier and have so much more energy than I used to. I can't wait to see what it feels like to hit my goal!!!

I'm glad to see a post in here. I joined about two months ago, and just really figured out how these forums work. I've lost 25.5 pounds and have started to really enjoy working out. I have more energy and less pain, and my moods are great. My goal is to drop another 25 by June 1st. I'm participating in the Summatime Challenge on here, and there are three virtual 5Ks between now and mid-June, and I want to walk/run all of them. I'm glad to see you all doing so well and getting closer and closer to your goals. It's tough sometimes, but we can do it!!

I'm with you! All my pants are so baggy but I refuse to spend money on a new wardrobe. I'm not that confident, yet. As far as the underwear...ditto.

That is too funny. I had to do the same thing. My hubby was very disappointed that I had to get some smaller bras. LOL As for the clothes, I am going to a consignment shop for a few pieces here and there and basically trading the out as I go. Can't always find the most fashionable clothes but I am not spending a lot of money on anything that I will not be wearing for long.

Ok got the tape measure out and put it to work have lost in the following area's. 2" neck, 3" thighs, 5" hips, 5" chest. I feel pert good scale has not been kind but after this I feel good with my efforts. I knew my clothes fit loose but it's cool to see the change in a number form.
