I have a Fitbit and I love it. It is able to tell me how much I burn during the day.0

Invest in a BodyBugg or BodyMediaFit if you want the most accurate number. FitBit is a glorified pedometer.0

I have a fitbit and love it. I use it to track my minutes during the day- it gives me a breakdown of sedentary/active/lightly active etc. I then take those numbers and enter them into a TDEE calculator- then from there I can double check how many cals I am burning and if my plan is accurate.
The only thing it doesn't track well for me is weightlifting- I add that in anyway so it's not a big deal.0 -

I try to get at least 5000 steps per day, plus another 5k on my HIIT days. I find this keeps me mobile enough. Plus, it's great motivation to get moving. I really like getting badges and such on the website for accomplishing things like using the stairs, etc.0
