Hi Everyone!
I received my JM Body Revolution last night, I was so excited to start :) This morning my husband and I went hiking as we do on my days off for 2 hours, 6.5 miles and burned about 1150 calories and climbed 102 flights of stairs with 15,000 steps :) All while listening to Jillian Michaels Podcast which are my inspiration!

I came home and did Phase 1 Week 1 DVD which was fine but I did not put on my body media band or my heart rate monitor so I am not sure how many calories one usually burns with the first DVD, can anyone please share?

I plan on doing the Cardio DVD tonight as well :) I am excited and committed as I have went from 400 pounds to 200 pounds (10 years ago and maintained all but the 39 pounds that I have been working on losing since February 1, 2012. I have lost about 12 pounds since then and am eager to get down to the 200 pound mark once again. I am 5'8" tall and a large framed girl. JM program states my ideal maximum weight at 160.

My husband made a delicious parmesan crusted tilapia and steamed veggies with a balsamic vinegar and hoisen sauce which was delicious for dinner :)

I would LOVE to start this journey to a healthier life with new supportive friends so feel free to add me as a friend and lets rock this program out :)

When I first recorded my calorie burns, I was 239 lbs. I'm 5'7" and 37 years old. All of my calorie burns, surprisingly, are about the same for workout 1, 2 and Cardio 1: about 330-350 calories. My weight levels are typically 8s and 10s (except for front raises, I use 5s) and I do full push-ups and try to add plyo when she suggests it (although, I pretty much only do it for 1/2 of the wide squats, so it's not much).

Welcome! I'm in my first official week (I spent 2 weeks not really starting, but trying out some of the videos). I'm in the Kickstart Week and am doing the workouts back-to-back in the morning, except for the cardio; I'm only doing the cardio DVD once on Cardio day. I've lost 4.5 lbs in 2 days, so I'm excited to see where I am on Sunday (clearly some water weight).

Good luck on your journey...this is a great group!

Congrats on getting started, that's always the hardest part (if you ask me)! I just got mine in the mail a couple days ago, and want to wait til Monday to actually "start" that way I can get the necessary equipment and food (I kinda like that she tells us what to eat, makes it much easier for me to figure out dinner) over the weekend. I did do the phase 1 cardio today, then my normal 2 mile walk up a mountain and then back down the mountain. To be honest, the cardio kicked my butt! But, I'm excited to do it again and see where I can get to by the end of this.

Looking forward to taking this journey with you all!

Hiking up the mountain is awesome! It really puts my mind in a great place while listening to Jillian Michael's podcast :) I am getting ready to do the Cardio work out for the first time :)

Good Morning Everyone! Today is my day 2 :)

Yesterday was a great day, I hiked 6.5 miles, did the phase 1 work out 1 which was fine and the cardio at night. The cardio was a bit harder for me in the sense that I have moderate arthritis in my knees from being 400 pounds for 10 years and put a lot of stress on those poor knees :) So the jumping type moves were difficult but I tried my best to keep moving if I could not do them.

Karissa my 7 year old had me finish out the night with ZUMBA on the Wii before we took our bubble bath in the jacuzzi. Sacrifices we make for our little ones lol

Off to take her to school and then walk in the park :)

I just stared on Sunday (I wanted my rest day to be on Saturdays) and I have really enjoyed it!!! I've lost a couple pounds as well as inches already!!! I love how motivating she is too which really helps me to push myself even more!
