I'm on track to finish the program this week. So my question is what next? I know some do the bridge to 10k....but I don't know that I have a desire to do a 10k...who out there has continued running? Have you gone back and done the program over again? What did you do to increase speed?

Myself - B210K but as you've said that's maybe not for you & if you want to keep up the running then there are programmes that continue the interval training but with a view to increasing your speed - does the idea of setting a benchmark time for the 5k and then aiming to take, say, 5 minutes off of that time appeal?

I don't know if this is the "right" thing to do, but I've just been running 5k's 3x a week. I plan on slowly uping it to 4 miles and then keep working up, but right now I don't feel like I can do more than 5k. I feel a little stuck where I'm at. You could either decrease your mileage time or increase your mileage. I don't think I would do the program over because it would annoy me to do the first weeks again.

That would be great actually. I would love to be one of those people who could run a 7 minute mile. Heck even getting to say a 9 or 10 minute mile would be exciting for me.

Agreed! I am also looking for a similar program to increase my speed on the 5km. Any suggestions?

Hmmm...there is a 5k I'm shooting for at the end of April. Dunno about going from 12 minute miles to 9 minute miles in less than a month though...
