Looking at a steady pound a week, I don't really see myself getting to the healthy range until June next year! Meanwhile our second son turns 40 in the middle of May, and I want to look good for the party. And our newest grandchild, Scarlet, is going to be christened down here in July maybe, so that will be another family party to show off how far I have come so far!

Florawanda, Enjoy the Birthday party, I'm sure you'll look great
Congrats on your grandchild!
I'm trying for 2lbs per week (give or take a little, we all had a bad week once in a while) but I'm trying to focus more on fitness goals and eating properly. So this said my goals are as follows:
- Run a 5k september 2012
- Run a 10k June 2013
- 155lbs by Januray 2013 (65lb weight loss, average of 6.5lbs a month)0 -
My immediate goals is to lose about 2.5lbs a week. Overall at least 60lbs... but would welcome more!0

It's great to have some intermediate goals, and Jen has got a great 'ladder' of goals, and allowing for a lower loss during the vacation - so realistic - and so strongminded to only weigh-in once a month! Jaz - good to set a weekly goal. I found I set myself 1.5 lbs but some weeks I stayed around the same 2 lbs. But looked at over a 10 week period, it has averaged at a bit over 1lb a week.
So will you stick your progress chart on the fridge, or somewhere all your family can see, and celebrate with you when achieve them?0
