Lethargy, How do you cope?

I know lethargy can be a major symptom, most often, 7-10 days before the menses cycle, yet we all have lives that don't stop for us. So my question: how do you cope and what do you do to beat the doldrums?

  • I think I mentioned before, that I am on YAZ. It has been a lifesaver for me!
  • I get up and workout/go for a walk first thing in the morning. If I don't exercise right when I get up, then I just don't have the energy for the rest of the day. Also, I have found that green tea really helps. I drink at least 1-2 cups of decaffeinated tea per day. Something in it gives me a little perk without the heart-pounding effects of caffeine. I do feel lethargic when I get home from work still. At this time I just give in and lay on the couch and watch T.V. lol I just try to make it through the work day.

This is a good questions! Lol. I am on YAZ also but it hasn't seemed to help with the tiredness. I haven't really found anything to help much other than (I know this is bad) pop. :embarassed: Since I started working out (which has been about 2 week) the lethary seems to have gotten worse. I wish I knew what to do differant. Maybe someone else will be more help! :)
