What are you on for PMDD?
I was diagnosed with PMDD over a year ago. All my CNP has done is put me on the pill. I got a tubal to go right back to what I was doing. Are there other option then the birth control pill? My body has been completely messed up since I had my youngest but that was over 3 yrs ago. Since diagnosed with PMDD I've been on 4…

HELP!!
Hey there, are people still active here?? So, I haven't been diagnosed but I'm positive that PMDD is my problem every month. I hesitate to mention it to my doctor because I don't just want pills (which is what I'd get), I want a real fix. I know everyone says diet an exercise helps their symptoms but it doesn't help me. I…

Getting off PMDD medicine
I have been on fluoxetine for quite some time. I went from 30mg to 20mg and stayed on 20mg for quite a few years. I started having problems with vivid dreams, restless leg syndrome and the migraines were increasing. I did some research online and learned that there was long term side effects with fluoxetine. Hello and so happy there is a PMDD group!
Hi, I have had PMDD for WAY TOO LONG. I was actually diagnosed with it in 1996 but had the symptoms way before that. I just didn't know about PMDD back then and thought I was going crazy. I have had to switch medication many times when the St. Johns Wort didn't work. I started with Zoloft, to Serzone,Wellbutrin, Lexapro to…

Something that helped me OTC
Hi everyone! I've been reading all of your posts. I was diagnosed with PMDD, and the doctor prescribed medication that would cost me over $80 a month for generic (the non generic was over $200). With the insurance I have now, I can't afford that, so I started researching and asking people. I've found that taking 100% of…

A Helpful Tool
I was talking with someone earlier, and we started talking about PMDD (fun topic in the school yard, hehe). Anyway, the conversation brought to my attention that not many people know they can add a period tracker to their smart phone! I find this highly useful in that my periods may not be regular, but I can use this…

Not the only one?
Wow I was so pleased to find this group - looks like I am not the only one who suffers crazy mood swings... what a relief! For what it's worth I have found "30 Plus" pills really helpful, though i"ve been taking them for months and the changes in my moods have been very slow.

PMDD and Fish Oil? I wonder...
Since I have added fish oil to my diet, I have noticed that I don't see a weight gain the week before TOM. It is the only explanation I have to explain this trend, as the fish oil (and fiber gummies) are the only changes made since this trend. Personally, I have also noticed that I take less of my anxiety meds, as well as,…
