I just got back from a quick 7 miler, during which one of the wonderful folks from my town forgot the rules of the road and nearly clipped me. My pedal broke, chain fell off, and I'm gonna have a helluva bruise. That was 1.5 miles into my ride so I fixed everything and did a shorter-than-planned ride before taking my damaged ego home. I'm fairly certain tomorrow will be an indoor ride.0 -

I decided not to have a goal this month. I love to run and I go as far as my body wants to go that day. Some months I hit 200 miles other months 100. I just signed up to go with the group at 5 am on Monday, Wed and Fridays. Tuesday and Thursday I'll do whatever I want for mileage and/or speed. Wednesdays I'm signed up for the early morning run and the mid morning run... so I might make that my long run days. I'm still experimenting. I did my first half marathon at 2:18:50. I want to work on that. I also want to work on my speed for the 5K. My last one was 28:41. Next week I am going to try sooooooo hard to get it under 25 minutes. Sooooo I have no idea how many miles I'm gonna log this month. I'm gonna do whatever feels GOOD : )
