Bit annoyed!

I was on Celebrity slim for 6 weeks and I lost 7 kgs. I start eating meals again and still exercising and I dont lose anything! I eat sweet crap all during the day and walk to and from work everyday (45mins powerwalk). Does anyone else have this problem?

    trolling?

Stick to your cal/macro goals and don't expect results overnight. FAT loss is not linear.

on your profile you have "medical secretary from Sydney with no time for gyms or after work heavy exercise."

i'm sorry but that's crap... about the time. We all have 24 hours in a day. Use 1 hour to work out. If that means getting up at 5am then so be it.

Also weight loss shakes, imo are a waste of money and really only a band aid fix.

If you want to loose then weight then you need to schedule your works. You need to make them non negotiable. If you want change then you have to challenge yourself. You'd be surprised at what you are capable.

Also keep a food diary for 21 days, you'll start to see where you really are eating.

And also you are better off eating small meals ever 2 hours (no more than 4 hours), to boost your metabolism. That way you wont pig out bc you have been starving yourself.

agree with everything you said except for the eat every 2hrs. That is TOTALLY not required. Cals in vs cals out. 8 meals or 1. Doesn't matter.

If you stop eating the 'sweet crap' you say you are eating all day you may just lose some weight...strange that.

I'm not saying have a huge meal every 2 hours. just a 100cal snack, like a slice of cheese or ham.
And I say it from experience. Also men women very different. But at the end of the day only YOU know your body. But you need to listen to it either way.

    Excess sugar = fat+
    Weight loss :noway: won't happen!

This is incorrect. If cals intaken are lower than TDEE (even with high sugar) you will still lose weight. However, if you are actually interested in losing FAT then you want to consume adequate protein & do resistance training to preserve LBM.

And re the meal timing: if 6 meals works for you then that's fine :) I used to be a 6+ a day eater also and it worked ok for weight loss but never actually felt full. Now I have the same amount of cals but eat in in 2-3 meals. Same results but not always hungry.

As you say, find what works best for you.

I think she was saying she eats "sweet crap all" during the day as in she doesn't eat much at all ????

That may be your problem - eat smaller meals more often?

careful - by "sweet crap" not sure if she means donuts, etc. or nothing - don't you just luv the English language !!!

Agree with some of the other posts though - try different things, but at the end of the day more exercise & less/better food = weight loss. Don't give in, you'll get there.
