Motivation Tips

I have a hard time getting motivated to exercise. I try varying my routine, I try the gym, I try at home. It is just so hard for me to exercise. Does anyone have any advice?

well in my case I'm in your boat, finding it harder and harder as I get older to really want to restart any exercise or nutrition program. But I did come to a conclusion yesterday, I just can't take it anymore. So I have a new feeling and I raised my own bar because now I have to do it, ,if I'm like this now I can't imagine what I'll be like in 20 years. So what I think I'm trying to save to you is hit bottom. Because that's where I am right now and I refuse to stay like this, I just started getting serious yesterday, I'm taking one day at a time, I promised myself 45 min. a day for me and my treadmill, there's no way I can do a workout program right now because I'm having back issues, but once I lose some weight I'm sure my back will start feeling better, and I will add in some basic weightlifting for starts.

Give yourself a break, and start at your own pace..... But just get going. As bad as I felt yesterday, it felt like a huge accomplishment just to get on my treadmill for 30 mins, and then I said to myself I don't want to waste it by eating crappy food, so I guess now im on my diet it feels a little addicting.

    I hope this helps.
