so frustrated

have walked on my treadmill 22.66 miles in 4 days...scale is showing no wieght loss..the last 3 days I have over 1000 calories left at end of day...what am i doing wrong?? Im working hard...I swear I am...and I just want to cry.

    Hi!

    Firstly, Well done on walking all those miles! That is brilliant!:flowerforyou:

    The problem is you're not eating enough :)

    You should be eating nearly all (if not all) of the exercise calories you gain.

    Your body is working double time and your metabolism is running high after walking all those miles so it needs the energy back, otherwise it works pretty much the same way that starving yourself does...your body will store instead of burn.

    If you really cant eat back ALL of your calories, I would aim to eat at least 60-80% of them back.

    Give it a go, and i bet you have a loss next week :wink:

    I know how you feel girl...I feel like I'm in a holding pattern too. I just can seem to do things right....but I suppose I'll keep on trying just like you will...not much of a choice to do otherwise... I know things will click sooner or later and my body will at least feel better even if the weight doesn't actually budge.
