8 Week Goals

So, I'm guessing everyone who's in the group got their first challenge today.. If not, the first challenge for today is to think about where you want to be in 8 weeks, and post your goals on facebook or their community website.

Since we're in this group on MFP, why not share our goals on here? I joined the community on toneitup.com, but I don't feel like keeping up with another account on their website. So, I'm going to post my goals here, and I want to hear everyone else's goals too!

My goals are:
1. To be able to wear a bikini for this first time this summer.
2. To have a body I feel completely confident about and proud of.
3. It'd be nice to get to my goal weight, 130lbs, but if not, I just want to have a really nice toned body :)
4. Maybe drop another jean size or two o:

  • I'd also like to be able to wear a bikini. I'm a bustier girl, and I can't find bikinis locally that are big enough/supportive enough for me.. last summer I ordered one from the UK as motivation and I'm ready to finally fit into it!!

    So my goals:
    1. Fit into and feel comfortable in my goal bikini
    2. Continue with this new healthy lifestyle of exercising regularly and eating healthy
    3. Lose at least 1 lb per week... more would be great! I'm about 16 lbs from my goal weight.

    I suppose my goals are:
    *Lose an lb a week, although if I lost more I wouldn't complain!
    *Fit into a size 10 (UK) bikini- This is ever so slightly optimistic.
    *Wear a dress bare legged. I'm super paranoid about my legs, they are pretty "thunder thigh-ish" and my cellulite is pretty noticeable. I never wear shorts, skirts, or dresses without black or nude tights/stockings. I would love to just be able to fling on a dress and not be self conscious about my legs.

    At my last weight-in I was 10 lbs and 10 weeks from my goal. So my goals for the next 8 weeks are:

    1) lose 8 pounds (1 lb a week)
    2) tone up
    3) hydrate - drink loads of water: need good skin for the amount that's about to be shown
    4) and ending with me able to fit AND be comfortable in my bikini

    My goals:
    1) 1lb per week weight loss (hoooopefully)
    2) Stick to the routines, do all reps etc
    3) Drink 8 glasses of water consistently each day

    Great idea! (I didn't want to post mine on FB either)

    My goals:
    1. Stick to my workout plan
    2. Tone up
    3. Stay on a schedule
    4. Stick to my meal plan

    1.) Stick to the routine
    2.) Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
    3.) Get at least 7-8 hrs of sleep
    4.) Drop at least a pound a week
    5.) Wear tankini I bought last year

    My goals are to complete each assigned tasks (always easier to start challenges than finish).

    Lose about 5 more pounds.

    Tone up and have 5% less body fat.

    Have less than 30g of sugar a day at least 5 days a week. Its my weakness.

    Stay connected to some fabulous new ladies that all support each other!

    My goals for the next 8 weeks include:
    1. Put 100% effort into my goals. Change doesn't come without hard work.
    2. Stand tall- be proud of what I'm accomplishing no matter what. If I'm working hard, I shouldn't be focused on the scale but on the changes I've made.
    3. Watch my sodium intake!
    4. Work out at least 5 days a week.
    5. Follow through- make sure I work hard on this challenge and BEYOND!
    6. Wear a bikini in Disney in June. I worked for it, I should own it no matter what I weigh!
    7. Regardless of my "it doesn't matter what I weigh" thing, I'd like to shoot for losing 1lb per week!

    i would like to get my waist from 36 inches to 32 inches. not sure if eight weeks is a realistic time frame but i will try. Definately want a more toned stomach.

    i wanna tone up so i dont have spare skin flapping around where the fat has been lost, ie Bingo wings - never had them b4 loosing weight , also i have a big having kids belly hang that i wouldnt mind toning and making look more like a stomach then a deflated tyre. lol

    Also to mainly have a body i will be happy to look at in the mirror, im roughly 11lbs from goal so loosing 8 of those will be a big help as i seem to be stuck loosing the same 1 or 2 lbs over again, i wanna get past these and start to loose lbs i havent lost b4 if that makes sence.

    As for a bikini well it would be nice to be going somewhere to be able to wear one but ill be happy in a pair of lil denim shorts and vest top and not look horrid in them

    I did not receive yeteray's mail seeing as I only joined today ;)

    My goals:

    1) Loose a pound a weeks.
    2) Look ok in a bikini for the first time after I had my first baby.
    3) Have my husband look twice lol.
    4) Gain more energy.

    - be strong enough to do push ups on my toes for 3 sets of 12 reps (yikes)
    - be able to make it up 72 flights of stairs for cardio
    - complete the routines without dying and stick it out the whole challenge
    - fit back into my favourite pair of jeans (it is winter after all) - can do them up but they are tight, tight, tight

    1) to loose 1 to 2 lbs a week
    2) tone up my body
    3) look amazing in a bathing suit!

    I've heard a lot about the Tone it Up program, but have not purchased it, so I'm anxious to see what the 8-week Bikini Challenge is all about!

    My goals:
    1) Decrease fat %
    2) Discover/build/uncover some abs
    3) Limit desserts & sweets
    4) Don't waste calories on alcohol
    5) Be happy when I wear a bikini in public

    Hi all!

    I'm just getting back into MFP after a long hiatus and I've found that groups/challenges really help me, so I signed up for this! I'm two days behind but going to catch up.

    My goals:
    1) Complete all the challenges.
    2) Track my food
    3) Keep to my calorie goals

    and most importantly DON'T GIVE UP!! I rent a beach house with my friends every summer, and they are all super skinny and gorgeous. I look fine, but it would be nice to feel totally hot rather than "fine."

    Looking forward to meeting all of you and making new friends!

    Hi everyone! I'm also a new member on their community, but that's just for the 'journal' part.

    So my goals in the long run (8 weeks) are to :

    1. lose stomach fat, I'm shooting for 4 inches off my belly
    2. lose a bit of breastfat, I don't feel like my breasts are in proportion to the rest of my body
    3. put my back into it
    4. keep track of my food (like I did before)

    1. Get stronger (by being consistent!)
    2. 8 pulls up (haha yes, this is a long desire of mine, I can only do 3 right now)
    3. smaller waist, stronger inner thighs
    4. and lose a pound per week as well!
