Hi everyone!
I printed off the treadmill version of C25K, and tried it twice (only made it to day 2 week 1). I'm determined to start tomorrow (4/16/12) and complete it! One of the reasons I didn't complete it, is because my calves hurt after. It's only 30 minutes, so they shouldn't hurt so bad! I bought new shoes, hoping that might help. One of my co-workers suggested using a foam roller, so I'm going to try that!
I'll post tomorrow and let you all know how my journey is going

Hi there!
Started C25K today. I did week 1 workout 1 and workout 2 since I went too far away from my house and didn't want to just walk back, so I did the second day. It was quite chilly out, but with my phone telling me when to run and when to walk and music in between, I have to admit, I actually enjoyed it! WOW, let's hope I keep enjoying this
Good luck to all!!

I just started too. I have had calf/shin pain in the past but so far so good. A couple things I learned 1) the right shoes - I went to a running store and the had me on a treadmill and took video of my feet with different sneakers on to make sure my feet were not turning. 2) don't push the speed. Take it slow 3) make sure you are hitting the ground heal to toe andd not funning on the balls of your feet. Good luck0

I just started C25K on Sunday. Tonight will be my second run on week 1. I have been running a couple of weeks...just to build up to being able to run 1 min wo stopping. I think this is going to be a long journey and I will probably have to repeat weeks, but I am really hoping I will stick to this and be able to run a 5k by Labor Day. Any support and motivation would be great!0
