Okay Ladies
I've set up the April spreadsheet with the suggestions that have come in.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AicviftRZdhUdGF3eG1yUXFMOTJ3ZXNYakVvS2Z4ZWc&hl=en_US#gid=4

(P.S. - reminder-- if you lose the link, you can go always back to the old one if you had it bookmarked, a new tab was added for April)

Once you find the spreadsheet, please list your name, current and goal weight and share with us ONE REASON WHY YOU WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT.

Now for the challenge, mixing it back up again.

 Logging food.
The key to success is logging, right?
1 point for each day you log your food on MFP.

 Exercise - Need to do this 4 days out of 7.
Any workouts count, aerobics, walking, weights, etc.
1 point for each day you work out.

:flowerforyou: Measurements Taken
Measure once per week, then compare those measurements weekly.
Suggested measuring the bust, waist, and hips, but its your body, your choice.
Your choice to share or not share.
5 points given for measuring each week.

:drinker: H20 strive for 64 oz daily
Returning to a former challenge where points are awarded daily for water levels consumed.
1 point a day for 1-4 glasses
3 points per day for 5 -7 glasses
5 points per day for 8 + glasses
35 points max per week for water consumption.

I wish everyone a successful and wonderful April!

Thanks for setting it up. Is there a minimum amount of time to workout to count as a point? I'll add my name tonight once I get home, and I'll finish my march chart then too

Shell, you are always one step ahead of me! Thanks for that!

After giving it some thought, I think I'm going to leave the amount of exercise (time) one does to each person to decide. We have some folks who really go the 'extra mile' when they workout, and others who really struggle some times to get exercise in. Since we are all striving to get healthier, let's each challenge ourselves to make the changes we need to have a very successful April.

    Ladies,
I am most happy to get us going! I need the help as much as anybody, and I sure am pleased to have such wonderful supportive friends on MFP!

You ladies are the big reason for my ongoing success!:heart:  :blushing:

Well, it is time for Week One progress:

 Measurements, those are always so tricky, try to measure in the same spot, the same time, every time! (same clothes same measuring tape, watching in the mirror--- I think I'm way too anal about this)
My bust stayed the same, belly button was down 3/4 inch and hips were up 1/4. We'll see where I am at the end of the month for the "Truth".

 Water. I was glad to have that back in the challenge again, I am more focused, not hitting 8 glasses a day, but at least I am getting more than I was before and that is success in my book.

:flowerforyou: Logging..I have been faithful, every day. I wanted NOT to log all the sweets I had Saturday night, but I did anyway, it wasn't pretty, but PMS rarely is.

 Exercise, I gave myself 2 rest days this week, so definitely met the goal of 4 out of 7 days.

 Weight. I have finally broken my plateau. Started the month at 162.4 and saw 159.8 in this first week! I can't tell you how happy that made me! I felt like I had been stuck for so long.

Thanks to everyone for keeping up with the challenges, it really is motivating to have you here!!

I'm all set except for the measurements. I'll have my husband help me out tomorrow with it, provided we can find a measuring tape. Hope I did the water right; I just counted up how many glasses I had every day.

week one? challenge? would it be unseemly just to say that i blew off the entire week plus a day? oh well. i'm on it as of today. and it feels goood to be back! measurements...hmmmm. i'll give it a go. i just drank water for the first time in over a week! i feel so much better for it, too. i don't know why i always do this to myself - i'm so much better off when i'm behaving! (yes, i have been known to behave. occassionally.)

anyhoo, happy week to everyone, and keep rockin' it out like you always do!

I've been slacking the past couple of days on water after a perfect week last week, so I need to get back on track on that one. I've been walking daily, but was told that with the fitbit that it gives a calorie adjustment for the calories burned, so I'm not logging it because I don't want to think I have more available than I actually do

I haven't even put my name on the spreadsheet. How pathetic is that? March was a rough month for me personally, so I was looking forward to April. I'm struggling but am trying to get back to serious business. I'll be glad when some good veggies come in so I can go back to salads and when this damned mono leaves me so I can start working on my body shape again.

Hope you all have a great week!!

long week this week, not happy with the scale results & afraid of the tape measure tomorrow. However, I did wear a top today that I haven't worn in a couple of years, and a major NSV for me personally, that might cross the TMI line but despite still not being happy with how I look I was comfortable enough to be undressed in front of another person that was not someone at the gym, and reverse my BAV status (as one friend called it)

End of week check in for me. did better on the water & going to the gym or getting some form of cardio in, plus I believe I stayed under every day. Despite a 5 day early visit from Aunt Flo who had to come to ruin my vacation, I managed to drop a few pounds, however the measurements weren't where I liked.
Of course stress eating was low on the list because I was off this week (went back today) so it was much easier to control my eating habits. question my ability for working sunday though because its always stressful. Right now I'm relaxing watching Water for Elephants (really love Rob in this) and trying to resist the cinnamon toast crunch cupcakes I baked tonight to take to my moms house tomorrow
