Back to liquids only at 6 weeks . . .

Well, after several days of not tolerating soft foods to the extent of extreme nausea and vomiting, my surgeon told me to try going back to the liquid only diet that I did so well on during the first 3 weeks and then to once again slowly try to re-introduce myself to soft foods.
Just so long as it is not something like a stricture, I'll be happy to give this a try. I tried behavior modification first (chewing more, slowing my meals down, taking longer for meals, etc.)

Sounds like good advice, pureed foods and soups blended well. Have you tried cheesy mashed potato with sour cream? I lived on baby food for about a month post op.
I am now 9 years out.
