3 mo into Primal Blueprint and did my first fast

I've been following Mark Sisson' Primal Blueprint for almost 3 months. I've lost 22 lbs on it so far and right now I'm way over 1/2 to my goal weight.
After reading @momma2teacher's post on her first 24 hr fast, I decided to try one myself. I read the eBook Eat Stop Eat (thanks again, @momma2teacher) to get good overview of fasting.
As I write this, I have under 10 minutes to go until the 24 hrs are up. I've already eyed the menu for Outback Steakhouse in Louisville (CO) and decided on a nice Filet & Lobster Tail dinner to put an end to my fast.
I drank over fifteen 8oz cups of water throughout the day. I've felt my stomach empty. In the past, if I had that feeling, I'd do something to fill it up. Not this time. I just went with the emptiness. Very Zen.
No bad effects at all, except one: I've gone to the bathroom 7 trillion times today. On the positive side, I'm probably the most hydrated person in all of Colorado. Something else, I've been doing the Couch to 5K (C25K) running program (Week 6) and I just ran 2-1/4 miles. The time of the first mile was a new PR for me and the second mile was just a wee bit slower.
That's all I got. Basically, a nice 24 hr fast, if you're doing Primal/Paleo, is goodness,
Now I'm going to call Outback to place my order. :-)

Yum, surf and turf!
Good for you for making through 24 hours. The most I've gone is about 14.0 -
Besides the cleansing that I think my body did like burning the rubbish proteins that were hanging around along with the fat burning, another thing the fast did was that now that I know first hand that an empty feeling stomach is not such a bad thing, it makes it a lot easier for me to stay under my daily cals.0
