My neck is no better, even having hubby care for the kids last night. Grr. I'm on my own with them tonight, hopefully they are fully cooperative little angels.

So no lifting again for me today. I'll try to run again tomorrow. I just found out my race on Sat isn't on the flat part of the canal path as I though, but rather through trail within the park, so I have NO IDEA what to expect for terrain. :grumble: I'm sure it will kick my *kitten*!

But we all know you can do it, Debbie!

Ugh, so I think this may be my "Monday". I had a rough night. My workout went really well and I managed to accomplish a little laundry and light cleaning when I got home, but by the time I went to bed I was so exhausted and hurting. I didn't sleep well at all - tossed and turned in pain. :frown: This morning I'm starting work with some ibuprofen, coffee, and my Grosse Pointe Blank soundtrack . . . putting my nose to the grindstone and getting some work done. Thank goodness it's a rest day for me - I think I need it.

I weighed myself again this morning to make sure that lost pound wasn't a just a fluke - still gone!

    Have a great day, all!

Good day!! I'm working really hard with this water thing. I've had one bottle on my desk since 8am and its still at the top :frown: but I'm working through it.

@susieq101178 : Try taking Aleve at night. I take 2 before bed and I sleep like a baby. When I've had a hard at the gym I can't sleep without them.

Hi folks, hope everyone's ok. As usual i see a lot of love in the room/group. Had a big day at work today. Had to move 3.5 tonnes of fish by hand. It took me just over 3 hours. It's safe to say that the lure of the gym isn't nearly strong enough tonight! My backs a bit sore but at least my calf isn;t bothering me. I'm going to take it easy tonight and put my feet up.

I'll have to try Aleve too-- I was so achy last night it was hard to get to sleep. You guys really saved me yesterday. I was busy and tired and flirting with getting a cold and I would have definitely skipped the gym. I feel like this site and all these little challenges hold me accountable. It makes me stop and think if it'a a real excuse or just me trying to avoid a workout. Hope you are all having a great day!

So I apparently murdered my calves dancing on Saturday. I spend yesterday limping around the house. We moved weight lifting to tonight and just went out for a nice long walk with the dog.

With all these injuries I sort of feel a like we are on an island for misfit toys. :-)

So I weighed in today. I did not gain!! I traveled and drank and ate all the things! No gain! I always think of this show Coupling (was on BBC). If you haven't seen it you should watch it! Absolutely one of the funniest shows ever made. Anyway, there is this character Jane and she is worried she might be pregnant. When she finds out she's not she shouts out "I've shagged and shagged and shagged and all the little buggers missed!!" I always think of that when I don't gain even though I probably deserved a gain.

"I ate and drank and had dessert and all the little buggers (calories) missed!!"
