The only thing I would do is to work some of the oxidation and rust off. Don't repaint or change any of the original parts. It is badd-*kitten* just the way it is. A classic Norton just like I remember them. Was never a fan of a kick start though. An electric start was one of the better inventions of the last century!!0

I'll work on the oxidation, Make sure it's safe and just ride it. Ditto on the kick start . Do it wrong and you get an 850cc kickback thru the bottom of your foot. Ouch.
