Hi, I'm new to the group, and thought I'd introduce myself with a question .

33jqmpv.jpgtailpiece, clipons, rearsets etc. I'm leaning toward leaving it alone, but it's in good enough condition to consider spending some bucks on to take it to a higher level. Thanks!

The only thing I would do is to work some of the oxidation and rust off. Don't repaint or change any of the original parts. It is badd-*kitten* just the way it is. A classic Norton just like I remember them. Was never a fan of a kick start though. An electric start was one of the better inventions of the last century!!

Thanks, for the input! I agree .
I'll work on the oxidation, Make sure it's safe and just ride it. Ditto on the kick start . Do it wrong and you get an 850cc kickback thru the bottom of your foot. Ouch.
Good weekend, here. Got the Duc out for a short ride . Took the long way to the gym!

I'd take care of the actual rust and ride it! That's a great machine you've got there!
