    Are you able to identify why you are having a hard time with the first phase of induction?

    I will be your friend too if you still need low carb buddies. I am not on "atkins" but I have to stay on low carb diet due to health issues. My max is 50 net carbs per day. I have done Atkins in the past and it worked VERY well for me. Good luck!

    HI Everyone! Just started Atkins last Wednesday. This is a hard diet to get used too. I miss my carbs but I am so serious about losing weight. Since I started I have lost 10 pounds. I definitely am looking for support too. Please add. :)

    I started the atkins diet last tuesday, today being day four!
    It is my first time so would love some atkins buddies :)
    Nipped on the scales day three out of curiosity was so sure you couldn't lose weight eating all this meat! and guess what?! I'd dropped 3.5 lbs in the three days already!
    know this will only be water weight but al the same im delighted to see the numbers going down! whoop!

    would love some support and to be able to support you guys too!:happy:

    I'm counting carbs and calories. I've had gastric bypass and lost the weight I needed to lose. Broke my arm last year and added 35 lbs back to my frame and I want that off. I maintained my goal weight for 16 years. I would love to have any and all of you as friends. My calorie intake is set low at my doctor's suggestion. So if you do decide to friend me, don't freak out about my calorie or carbohydrate goals. It is imperative that I lose this weight. I was a diabetic when I weighed 330 lbs. I maintained at 160 for all those years and am at 189 today. If I don't get control of this weight I could end up a type 2 diabetic again and My goal is not to let that happen. I am being monitored by my doctor through this effort and just dropped my calorie intake last night at his suggestion.

    I know exactly what my problem is i get very stressed out and to deal with the stress I eat. Usually carbs or high sugar. "I deserve this it's been a hard day." I'm weak.

    I've been on Atkins for 7 months and lost 80 lbs so far. I'm pretty much still following Induction rules, with the exception of almond milk and whey powder I use every day after workouts. I still keep my carbs to 20g net or under unless I go out to a restaurant, which is always hard to control. Believe it or not, at this point I find Atkins EASY as I no longer crave carby food!

    You can add me, I have been doing Atkins for a few months but now I am going to eat fruit and veggies and try to stay between 50-100 net carbs daily.

    I'm on day four of Atkins Induction phase with some LCHF (low carb high fat) ideas thrown in. Also day four of MFP so I could use some friends! ;)
