booze

I know red wine is cool, but I am a social drinker, and pretty social. ;) So, I drink whiskey and diet. How bad is that? Also, what else can I order from the bar? I don't care for beer so that's good. I heard a rumor that there are no carbs in booze, but there are sugars.

Anyone know any tips there?

You can get away with some white wine as well, just try to avoid the sugary kind. It mentions that in the book somewhere. I like beer so I try to get one of the low carb beers that they have in the states now IE "MGD 64". You get a TON of carbs from the additives in mixed drinks like Margeritas etc. I like scotch and most whiskey so I just try to drink them neat or on the rocks. I have found that Liquor varies ALOT on carb count so below is a good reference to different types. Honestly, when I cut out all Alcohol I for a couple weeks I saw way better results. It may be worth not drinking for awhile because in my case after a few drinks I would tend to say "screw it" and have tacos or whatever and just ruin my whole day of eating slow carb. Hope this helps!

When reading the 4 hour body he said that he has 2 glasses of wed wine a night and saves his beer for his "cheat" day.
