We have a draw each week from the food sheets handed in and they get one week free dues for the winner. Hope this helps.0

We do something similar. We draw for a $1. There is a 25 cent fine for not completing one also.
Some chapters give a free month of dues if they turn in their journals to the leader for 6 weeks in a row.
Last time I ran a contest one of the ways to qualify was to turn in their calorie sheet. That worked pretty well.0 -
I am new to TOPS. I joined in February. My weigh lady has asked me each week if I have done my journalling. I have said no for the last 4 weeks. I would start on Friday but would not journal any of the rest of the week. I thought she was going to judge me because I didn't do what I was supposed to do and ate all the wrong foods. I bought the daily do it journal. Last Friday, I was out with my daughter and granddaughter and we dropped in at Jack-in-the-Box. I am tracking my carbs. I overate by 60 carbs. Which means I ate 115 carbs at that meal. I wrote it down. Then, I looked at what I had done and came up for a plan for the future. I will sub diet coke or their lemonade for the Rootbeer (45 carbs saved) eat 1/2 of the small curly fries (15 carbs saved) eat 3/4 for the sourdough jack toss the other 1/4 (saved 10 carbs) ... so this new plan takes away 70 carbs or brings it down to 45 g carbs which is what I need to do to say within my budget. I am going to be using my journal as a learning tool instead of a bashing tool.0

Good for you, Mustangterri! I told someone the other day that my chapter needs to have a program on keeping a food diary. Most of our people turn one in (we do fine 25 cents for not turning one in and make it part of most of our contests). But they write down "cereal"...is that a cup or the box??? I can't tell you how proud I am that you "get" it. A journal should help, not punish. I know that when I lose, most often it is when I have cared about myself enough to write down what I have eaten. I keep old journals, write down how much I lost right on the front. Then, when I am struggling, I go back and see what I was doing right.
Good luck...You can do it!0 -
Since I found this site I've been using the food journaling here. It is so easy compared to other sites I've been to and printable so I can take to meetings. I like the fact that you can enter your exercise and it shows up on the page also. This site is a win, win!0
