So lets have it- what are you listening to at the gym to keep you pumped? I have a few songs but want some recommendations- a lot of the posts outside of this board have a lot of men that post a ton of heavy metal songs and thats not really my thing. So far this is what I'm working out to now:

I Can Do Anything: 3OH!3
Lights and Sounds: Yellowcard
Cross My Heart: Marianas Trench
Jump Around: House of Pain
2 Sides of Me: Hinder
White Rabbit: Egypt Central
Blame it on the Boom Boom: Black Stone Cherry
Sick Sick Sick: Bayside
Heartbreaker: Pat Benatar

I have a couple more, but for the most part these are my favorites!

    ZZ Top - Legs
    Bob Seger - Her Strut
    Robert Palmer - Simply Irresistible
    Sammy Hagar - Mas Tequila
    Christina Aguilera - Fighter
Spin Doctors - Little Miss Can't Be Wrong

Some ACDC, Queen, Black Crowes, etc.

Not a fan of new rock or club-type stuff, and country just doesn't fit.

Is it weird that I like to listen to really girly semi slow/calming music when I lift?

I will "rock out" to Regina Spector, Adele, A fine Frenzy and Cold Play type music while lifting. LOL

I totally love all the music on these playlists mentioned but I guess it de stresses me while working around the guys in the weight area.

I feel like a total nerd.

I listen to some calming music - though probably like 2 songs. I'm naturally a very angry person! :P

Can't wait to see more replies here! I just set my ipod on shuffle & go. Usually I get some DMB, Chili Peppers, Beatles, Kanye West, Gaga, Fergie... If I am really into my workout, sometimes I don't notice until halfway through the song that I am listening to "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" or "O Holy Night"!

I like lifting to rap mostly.. right now the playlist is a mix of Lil Wayne, Drake & the Jay-Z/Linkin Park Collision Course album (6 songs, great album)
