Powdered Peanut Butter?

What do you guys think? Is it still a no-no because it's a legume? I was reading about it online and all the nutritional info and it is basically peanuts, sugar, and salt (which I know are not ok) , but I just had to ask because the way it is made takes out all of the fatty oils. After the rants are roasted they are squeezed to remove the oil. Let me know what you all think Here's a link to the website about it.

Peanuts are no-no if you are strict paleo...
Go with something like Almond butter with no sugar...just almonds - I get mine from Whole Foods the fresh ground stuff - but I have in a pinch bought a jar from the store - you just have to read the labels...choose one that has basically only almonds as the ingrediate...
You WANT the fat in the good nuts like Almonds, Pecans, etc...0 -
I think it sounds gross, even if I still ate peanut butter. I second Twinmom's opinion. Just say no!0

the fatty oils are probably the best part seriously - and I mean that from the healthy perspective - not the taste perspective.0

Thanks! I am strict Paleo.... Well have been since I started 3 weeks ago lol. I am a newbie to this lifestyle, but love it so far. I have heard of the alone butter. I haven't tried it yet but I will have to try it out. I figured the peanut powder wasn't a good idea :-/. My friend who is just regular dietng has been having it and loving it do I just had to ask. Peanut butter isn't worth me getting off this train though I'm one motivated woman lol thanks for everyone's responsesPeanuts are no-no if you are strict paleo...

I would recommend 100% hazelnut butter (not Nutella) or almond butter instead of peanut butter.0

If you want almond butter or hazelnut butter and can't find it in the store (my store is crap and doesn't carry those things), you can make your own with a food processor. My mother-in-law makes cashew butter for holidays and it is delicious!0
