RMR question

I just had an official RMR test done which shows my RMR to be 1613, different from the BMR Scooby provides at 1492. Not knowing what the difference between BMR and RMR (if any) is, should I keep my current BMR (do not eat below this #) at 1492 or bump it up to the 1613 and figure TDEE -15% cut from that number or would you leave it as is? Using TDEE -15% formula on 1492 BMR has me eating around 1750 cals per day now. :ohwell:

    RMR & BMR are often used interchangeably, so it depends on your source..

    R= Resting (metabolic rate)
    B= Basal

    If anything, RMR is traditionally slightly lower (meaning you're asleep). But if you went and got it tested and weren't asleep, then treat it as you would your BMR. (which is what your body uses at rest, but not asleep)

    Thanks Kiki. I knew you or Lucia could get it straight in my head. I will change the numbers accordingly :flowerforyou:
