    Interesting. Is there any risk of re-gaining weight when returning to non PSMF eating? I can see doing this short term, but not as a forever way of eating. Speaking strictly for myself, that is.

    I might try it. I'm super frustrated with my plateu. :-\

    There's always a risk to regaining weight when you stop exercising and start eating junk food. Doesn't matter what diet you do. The thing about VLCD and this one in particular is you have to exercise to see fast results. If you do 45 mins of steady state cardio, you can expect to see at least 1 pound of weight loss the next day. Again, that's only if you're exercising! If you don't exercise then it won't work. You need the exercise to keep your metabolism from dipping.

    Edit: I'm also doing this with protein milkshake since it's easier for me to count the calories.

    Uh.. allow me to clarify... when I said, returning to non PSMF eating, I was not talking about junk food! I just meant, adding non-protein foods such as fruits & veggies, and possibly even whole grain carbs here & there, still within VLCD limits. And stopping exercise is out of the question, regardless what I'm eating!

    I just joined the group but wanted to add a quick tip: be careful with overdoing exercise on PSMF. If you've read Lyle McDonald's RFL handbook then you know why, if not, suffice to say that it will impede your progress, make you feel like crap, and generally make a hard diet even harder. You really just need to lift somethign heavy 2-3 times a week (not longer than 45min) and do a bit of walking 5-6 times a week fasted if possible.
