Week of May 14th Challenge!

Hello Everyone! Last week was a productive one! Our group is growing!
Congrats to the following who met the goal: 225 minutes of exercise last week! The list is a bit smaller this week but none the less impressive!

Good job! Now it is a new week and time to get that scale movin! This week's goal is to log 10 miles of exercise. You can get your 10miles walking/running/jogging/swimming. (bike riding doesn't count sorry) If 10 miles is too much or if you are just starting out try for 5 miles. Those of you who only do classes (zumba or other aerobics) can shoot for 230minutes this week!
We are awesome -- we can do this! Losing weight is a lot more manageable when we cheer each other on and when we eat a sensible diet and move our bodies. It doesn't have to be torture!

Ok I have 150 minutes this week. I need to do a little catching up, but Friday and Saturday are good workout daysso I should beagle to make it.

I finished another four miles tonight bringing me to 7.5 miles for the week so far! Halfway to my personal goal! And almost to the goal on this board. We can do it! (feeling energized and had a cheerleader moment lol)
I have to say this is the first night I have ever done 4 miles. I usually do 3. I also did the 4 in 20 minute miles. Which isn't very impressive but I have come a long way from the point when walking one mile felt like someone was trying to torture me. I am proud of myself. I will probably only walk 3 most nights but I wanted to see if I could do it. My next goal for the upcoming month is to get to a 18minute mile.
Does anyone have long or short term goals they'd like to share?0 -

Wow! I cut it all a little too close. Spent the weekend out of town with my family; it was my Dad's 60th bday. There was so much good food -- as usual. I MADE myself get a guest pass to one of the local gyms and finished my 10 miles on Saturday.
Everyone is looking amazing, great job this week! Welcome Shannon!
Looking forward to undoing this weekend's damage. I don't even know where to begin logging this stuff. It might just have to be a wash and restart tomorrow.0 -
