Anyone else have light bones?

I know it sounds silly but I truly do have light bones, I also have a tiny frame. So even though my goal weight may seem wrong for my height, it's actually not.
And to be honest, at the end of the day, when I eat healthy I naturally lose the weight anyway.
Does anyone else have this? If so please friend me with a message
I could use some MFP friends who are in the same situation.

I don't know how much my bones weigh. But seriously, if you mean having a relatively smaller lean body mass, then that's me. Only 89 lbs of non-fat.0

wow you lucky thing. i meant that, even though my height would say that a certain weight is healthier for me, i have a small frame and light bones which ends up meaning that 55kg is an unhealthy weight for me.0

I was always told that I was "big boned" and that's why I weighed so much..and I believed it.
Until I read an article saying that while there may be a difference between different races (asians are lighter boned, african americans are heavier boned), bone density is really quite insignificant between people of the same race (something like 1% of a pound difference in weight because of bone density).
Regardless, as long as you are within your healthy range, I don't see why it matters anyway....0 -

How does one weigh their bones?
Very carefully.
In all seriousness though, doctors have specialized machines that can do it.0 -
maybe i mean a small frame for their height then. all i know is that when i eat 100% healthy, fuits, vegetables, meats, reasonable serving sizes, i naturally have an BMI that is underweight and the only reason i've ever had a healthy BMI is when i've eated over 2500 calories a day for multiple weeks without exercising and it would be nice to have a similar person as an MFP friend.0

BMI charts don't work for everyone, but usually it is for people with unnaturally high muscle content, like body builders...which I am assuming you're not. Also, it doesn't matter WHAT you are eating, you can still be underweight if you are eating healthy items and you just aren't eating enough of it. I'm not saying you are, I'm just saying it is possible. Most people would gain a lot of fat as well eating 2500 unless they were working a ton of it off each day.0
