I am looking for a coffee that I can make at home that actually tastes good and is not outrageously expensive.......I know you know what that is:bigsmile:

I have been buying from a website called Coffee Fool for about 5 years now. Best tasting coffee I've ever had. It costs about what you'll pay for Starbucks ground coffee, but is SO much better! Not burnt at all so you can taste the difference between different coffees.0

I purchased a Keurig brewer a couple of years ago and will never go back to the traditional coffee maker. There's nothing that compares to a fresh cup of coffee. The K-cups for the machine get expensive especially if you drink as much coffee as I do, so I use the reusable filter that came with the machine and purchase bulk ground coffee which at the moment happens to be Starbucks Pike Place Roast. Very affordable and yummmmie!0

Highlander Grogg flavored coffee
A maple-spice flavored coffee with a hint of Caribbean rum0 -
I have Boca Java delivered every 8 weeks, usually 2-3 1/2 pound bags, a little pricey but worth it for a "treat". My favorite is the Tanzanian Peaberry0

I know Costco sells different items depending on the city/state, but the Costcos in Utah sell a French Roast called San Francisco... it's AMAZING!! I never leave home without it!0

Get a burr grinder, and buy quality fresh coffee beans. Grind right before brewing and brew at the proper temperature and ratio. Once you have technique down, you can zero in on origins, blends, and roasters that you like.0

This! Go to a local roastery, fresh roasted beans and you're supporting local business :-)0 -
Trader Joe’s Coffee: Fair Trade Organic Bolivian Blend... It's so good. Hint of caramel taste so it tickles my sweet tooth without adding syrups and whatnot. 7.99 for 14 oz isn't bad. Traditional coffee is sprayed heavily so its one of the few things I spring for organic free trade even though I do not have a ton of money right now. Student life, you probably know....0

I guess I am a bit of a coffee snob. My friends own a great coffee shop in NY state. They import the beans green and roast them on site, so if i can get my hands on it, I do! They have a website now, and that gives me the ability to buy now that I am in TX. Heavenly Cup Coffee Roasters, look them up online, they are great!0

I've been buying Anderon's coffee since 1981. It's a local little roaster and lucky for me they're located in Austin, TX, where I live. I think freshness is the most important thing for coffee. Keeping the beans airtight before grinding makes a huge difference.0 -
I'd been buying coffee at Anderson's for about three years before I got married. My husband (now-ex) said "That coffee's too expensive and it ain't any better than Chock-full-o Nuts. So, marriage is a compromise and after we'd used up the Anderson's, I bought Chock-full-o-nuts. The next morning he took one sip and said "Are we all out of that good coffee?" So it was back to Anderson's We divorced in 1995 and he still buys his coffee there.0

I wait for Shoprite to have Melitta on sale and stock up. I also use a Melitta Pot to Brew in. My Personal Favorite...Blend 1 Can of European Roast with 1 Can Hazelnut Cream.
36 grams of Coffee...water just off the boil (I add 3 ice cubes to the kettle to stop the boil)...Best cup ever! If you don't have a gram scale its 6 of the plastic scoops that come with a Melitta Pot.
Sounds excessive, but I drink it black. If you drink coffee black it has to be smooth and brewed to perfection. Once I saw what ND Creamers did to my Blood Sugar...I learned! Drink It Black.
BTW I also will wet the coffee down first(Melitta Calls it Blooming) and then add liberal amount of Cinnamon, and brew. Cinnamon is supposed to be good for Blood Sugar. But it also compliments the Hazelnut flavor.
Take a leap of faith and try it! For 2.99 a can you cant go wrong!0
