French Toast, Italian- Style

2 Tablespoons Part- Skim Ricotta Cheese
2 Slices Whole Grain Bread (I use the Low Carb bread)
1 Teaspoon Honey
I Tablespoon Sliced Almonds
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon Low Fat Milk

1) Spread ricotta on 1 bread slice. Drizzle the honey over the ricotta, top with almonds, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Top with other slice to make sandwich.
2) Cook in skillet/griddle with cooking spray over medium heat. Whisk the egg, milk and any remaining cinnamon in bowl. Dip sandwich into mixture to coat both sides. Place in pan and cook until bread is slightly browned.

Makes 1 Serving

Per Serving: 330 Calories, 18g Protein, 43g Carbs, 10g Fat (3.5g saturated), 340 mg Sodium, 6g Fiber

    I prepare my breakfast in the evening, put some frozen berries in a bowl and then add some plain greek yogurt, put it in the fridge and in the night the berries defrost and flavor the yogurt really nicely, really low calorie and no need for any other sweeteners in the yogurt
