Now that the month has drawn to a close I was wondering how many miles you all ran this month?
I took the whole first week of this month off but still managed to get in 51 miles. Just wondering what everyone is logging...
and it's fun to show off and motivate each other!
(PS. My goal for June is 70, feel free to let me know yours!)

159.46km (= 99 miles)
wow - I had no idea - - pretty impressive when you actually add it up !0 -
Only 90.
The 2 weeks after my marathon on the 6th we're low mileage recovery weeks.0 -
82.95km (51 miles).
Didn't get a lot of running days in due to a lot of appointments, but I'm happy with the result. Going to aim for 100km / 62.5mi for june,0 -
105 miles Thanks for getting me to check, that was a nice surprise, especially since I've taken this week off from running to recover from a marathon last weekend0
-
80 miles. I too ran a marathon early and not been ramping back up too quickly.0
-
124 miles including one very warm marathon (Run for the Red in the Poconos, PA).0
-
I ran 84.6. Thats my new monthly high since I started tracking.0
-
Only 66 this month... I've been focusing more on P90X after my half marathon at beginning of May. down from almost 100 last month training for my race. Gotta get the mileage up for my next in August!!0
-
103.8 miles0
-
Sad, 79, should have been 89 but couldn't get my long run in last weekend because I was sick with strep throat Should be higher this month with the half marathon June 22!0
-
93.80, but had a week off with an injured neck, and this week have been tapering so this acutally suprised me!0
-
oh, thats in miles :-)0
-
Only 45 miles. Slowly building back up.0
-
Just under 100 miles (incl last Sunday's half marathon) - not much mileage this week but back at it this weekend.0
-
You know, in all my years of running I've never added up my monthly mileage before. Just did it - I ran 134.6 miles in May. Marathon training! I'm tapering now....I'm running Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, MN....2 weeks from tomorrow!!0
-
I ran 100 miles in May. I am part of a group here called Runner's Team Challenge. The Moderator does a spreadsheet. My goal for June is 100 again.0

My lowest month in a long time but it was my goal race month (marathon) so there was a 2 week taper in there and recovery as well. I also had a huge PR in it...so I'm ok with a lower month.0 -
New to the group.
227 for May. Was stymied by injury and a medical condition the last week. Was on pace for 270.0 -
I ran 63.4 miles in May. Probably my second best month ever to 66.2 in February. Last year I only averaged about 34 a month. I hope to pass 80 in June.0
-
44.35, but kickin it up in June0
-
249 in May. It's a little down from previous months because I introduced speedwork and had to reduce some of my weekday runs and I was fighting a case of plantar fasciitis the first half of the month.0

ooooo - what pace you shooting for?
I'll be driving up day of as I have a ton of peeps running that and the half (including my DH). I'll be running back from the DEC to about lemondrop to start running people in for a bit0 -
97....Training for the hood to coast in August so next month I'm shooting for 140. Whoa!
I came here to post cause Elizabeth's on my friend string and so I saw she started it...didn't realize it was from a "long distance" runners group. I have never considered myself a long distance runner! I only recently allowed myself to to "call" myself a "runner" at ALL! This is blowing my mind right now...especially since I actually hung with a large group of you!
Mind. is. blown.0 -
90 miles in May. I'm pretty happy with that.0
-
70.5 miles -- I was recovering post-half at the beginning of the month, plus I skipped a long run to try to rest my shins, which were feeling a bit "splinty." (Happy to say that the sacrifice was worth it, because they're feeling great since that little break!)0

Well, my current PR is 4:04 so my main goal is under 4 hours but I'm probably going to aim for somewhere in the 3:45-3:50 range. I don't know for sure how fast to push, I'm in MUCH better shape than I was 1-1.5 years ago. My old (1.5 years ago) 1/2 marathon PR was 1:59 and about 6-7 weeks ago (the end of April) I ran a 1:43 half and felt fantastic the whole time. In fact when I was done with the 1/2 I grabbed a drink of water, then turned around and walked about a mile back out on the course until I found my mom who was also running the 1/2 and turned around and ran the last mile back in with her.
I want to run a smart marathon and not burn out at the end but I also want to push myself to do the best I can. Marathon pacing is hard, I think! Start too fast and pay dearly later....been there and it's not pretty. But I don't want to go too slow and run under my potential either.0 -
I ran 70 miles and I am happy with that since I am just getting back from having plantar fasciatis. Not really training for anything for a while.0

Only showing 52 for May. Looks like I better get busy in June.0

I just did a 1:42:27 half and did my marathon in 3:36:33.....so you might be a bit faster than you thinking. Of course, keeping it conservative is a good idea the first half. I went through 10 miles at 1:25 and the half at 1:50 and change.
Feel free to pm me your outfit etc and I'll be sure to look out for ya and cheer ya on. I am thinking about being at the base of Lemon drop and running with peeps for a mile or so and then coming back for the next person.0 -
169 miles for May.0
