Week of May 28th Challenge

Hello Everyone! We had another successful week of exercise and hopefully eating good food too!

Congrats to the following people who made last week's goal of 12miles of cardio or 240minutes of exercising!

It is a new week so let's start a new challenge. Since there was a holiday on Monday some of us lost a day to traveling and bbq's -- the goals aren't going to change by much but I thought we'd try spicing things up a bit.

This week the goal is to get in 13miles of cardio! You can walk/jog/run but no biking please (if you bike just count minutes like the classes) If 13 is too much and you are just starting out try for 6 miles. Those of you who love your classes (zumba etc.) let's shoot for 250 minutes of exercise. If you are new and just starting out shoot for 125min.

Extra Credit : Finish your daily water EVERY DAY (at least 8 glasses) and stay under your calories at least 5 days this week!

We can do this everyone! When we have support and some accountability it can be fun! 100 pounds is a lot of weight to lose so let's get active!

Showing up is half the battle how many days (rounded to the nearest 5) have you logged in?

*** if you finished the goals but didn't check back in time -- remember that I collect data on Sunday night (this week was Monday because of the holiday) turn in your results to be included on the leader board ***

    Wow! There are some really good challenges. I want to focus on the water and keeping under my calorie count this week along with the exercise.

    Spicing it up..huh??? Sounds more like you threw in a pound of cayenne!!! LOL. You go Mel!!! I will take your challenge and even though I may not be able to lift my arms or move my fingers to report back to you!!! HEHEHEHE. Come on girls, I know we can do it!! Also look for a post from me on Friday, I have never posted pics before, but I am going to attempt it. Friday marks my 1 year anniversary!! I am living proof that sometimes you can even amaze yourself. Have a great day chickies and keep kickin!!

    Happy Friday peeps!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I have 195 minutes in that extra 15 minutes thanks to Mel's youtube special. Have a special bootcamp planned tonight for my anniversary, I am sure its going to be lethal. Zumba Saturday, that should put me at goal for the week, I let you know for sure after the classes. Water not a problem I down enough of that to be declared a Great Lake!! Check out my post in success stories. its under 1 year today with pics. Just keep on kepping on!!! Tammy

    I'm at 185 minutes this week and have another trainer session tomorrow. I think I will just squeak by for the challenge. I will try to get an extra walk in tomorrow.

    Ok, made 255 minutes this week. It was a challenging week to get through. Hope everyone had a good week.

    Did it Mel!! 260 minutes, 240 in classes, 20 min doing your utube special!!! HEHEHEHEHE. I am not counting all the dancing on saturday night :) Date night with hubby, always a good thing! Cant wait to see what you got shaking and baking this week Melissa!!

    Wow great job everyone! Unfortunately, I wiped out this week it was the ladies curse lol... couldn't seem to hold it together! I will pick it up this week!

    On another note Congrats to Tammy for one year of healthy living!! You rock girlfriend!! :smile:
