Firstly hello, im new to this group. Been going to gym for about two years making slow but steady progress.Hit a plateau which prompted me to join MFP initially i was on a three day split with thirty minutes of cardio included, my trainer recently changed me to a shorter workout so I’m only in for about 50-60 minutes. Still a three day split but only doing two sets per exercise and down to 20 mins of cardio each time(treadmill intervals).

I am weighed in the gym each month it takes %fat, fat free mass etc the last one was encouraging weight 94kg %fat 21.9 fat mass was 20.6 and fat free mass 73.4 all of them going the right way for me. But his month weight had gone down to 91.4 but fat mass stayed same at 20.6 and fat free mass shot down to 70.8, is it possible to do that badly, I’ve been feeling stronger and my weights on the exercises had gone up. Any help most gratefully received. Cheers Dave

Whatever method you're using to measure bodyfat isn't perfect

Appreciate the reply -What way do you track your overall progress - maybe strength gains?

I don't really track progress on a cut. I just eat at a moderate deficit, keep protein high, lift heavy, and hope for the best. If weight loss stalls for a while, I lower calories a bit.

    this.

I see progress in the mirror or in my lifts.
As long as my lifts are going up, I don't worry too much about what the scale says. As long as I'm not getting too sloppy with appearance.
