Hello everyone,
Another issue that has been of some concern to me is.......eating when I get home from work, at 6:00am......boo me
Normally it wasn't an issue, but lately I've had the urge to have something before I go to bed. Sometimes its something light, but it's the nasty crap that sneaks in there. How do I get this under control?
I'm sure better planning of my lunches and less stress in my life would help lol.
I just need to get on track...I know I can do this.

I get off at 6a too. I usually eat a bowl of cereal or oatmeal somewhere between 4a and 5a. Holds me over long enough that I can go to sleep with no problems and I haven't eaten JUST before getting into bed.0

I had to do the same thing. I had gotten into the habit of eating when I get home, especially on Monday morning which is my Friday, and especially something unhealthy as a sort of treat for making it to the end of my work week. After I got back on my diet I found that I wouldn't be hungry when I left work and when I got home I'd be so hungry I couldn't sleep without eating something. I had trained myself to expect food when I got home.
So, now I eat relatively close to the end of my night, and when I get home if I absolutely must have something before bed I have a glass of skim milk or maybe some tea... just something on my stomach while I tell myself that I'm not actually hungry. So far so good. Of course it's only been a week. :happy:0 -
I usually have graham crackers and peanut butter around 5am or an apple. That holds me till I wake up then at 3 pm0

I'm trying to not eat a lot during my 3rd shift..500 calories or less..but my job as a c.n.a can be strenous so therefore I use energy and sometimes get hungry and want to darn near eat a full course meal0
