    Based on what I've read briefly about your ex, it sounds like you invited someone much better for you into your life this time and that is a huge step forward! Remember what you did to attract this man and stay with that energy for when you're ready to get back out there again. Try not to lose your sense of optimism because he wasn't the one. It just means there's someone who will be a better fit for you down the road. Stay strong and keep looking forward. :flowerforyou:

    He was better in the sense that I felt safe with him and I felt I could trust him.. but he wasn't a good guy for me.

    IM sorry for your loss, it sucks. I dont know you well but honestly, maybe you should take a break from dating for awhile and focus on you. It seems you find a man and put your heart into in too quickly and you get your heart broken. Take your time, you are young and their are many great guys who would love to find you and will.


    Actually my heart is okay. Thank God! I didn't give it over to him. I took that very slow. I know I wasn't in love with him. I was very realistic about that and not rushing it.
    I just need a week or so and I'll be fine. :happy: It sucks.. but it was for the best.

    thats good. Rushing in, that is a mistake too many do. Honestly, I know alittle about you and I didnt think he was your type.

    I'm seeing a lot of things more clearly. (God I love my friends!!)

    I'm going to go see my family this weekend. I can't wait. I need some good mom/dad/sisters time. :)
