When to Resume Squatting?

I really must have done something wrong when lifting on Monday, because my left knee has been slightly painful since that afternoon. It's gotten better every day, but it still hurts a bit when I stand up from a seated position. I am almost positive I know what I did wrong, form-wise, so my question is on resuming lifting.

When you hurt a joint, when do you resume lifting? At 80% recovered? 90%? Wait until it feels fully better?

I am probably not a good one to say as I usually push it too soon. "Hurts a bit" is not usually a big deal. Stabbing pain would be of more concern. I would see how it feels with the correct form. Pay close attention when you squat and make sure you warm it up good before you go with the full weight.

Not sure what the correct answer is, but when you do decide to start squatting again, I suggest lowering the weight by 10-20% and work on your form.
