June 8 Successes
I picked up a banana, lemon and coleslaw bag before heading out to join my husband at the cabin. I ate the banana on the way. My husband whipped up spaghetti but i had my sauce over cabbage and said no to garlic toast. He also had a cheese cake and wanted me to have some. He is a big dessert lover and I said no then he said how about a sliver and I said okay to that and had the smallest sliver didn't eat the crust and savoured the flavour in my mouth. It was delicious and just the right amount.
I was going to take the day off exercise but love being at the cabin and wanted to have one glass of red wine by the fire so I went for a 6 km run along the lake and when I came back got my kayak out and went the same direction on my kayak. Caught the sun setting abit on the way back. I enjoyed my glass of wine. I want to live not in depravation but learn to say no sometimes, postpone eating, make a better choice and to stay in a calorie zone that will keep me healthy and fit 4 life ~ it is a lifestyle 80 % healthy whole foods in the right portion size is my lifestyle goal.
