Setting my Calories?

Hi. I'm fairly new to the group. I'm so glad I found it, as I was starving at 1200. I'm just wondering if it's OK to set my base calories at my BMR and then eat back my exercise calories each day. I feel like I'm in between light exercise and moderate exercise on my activity level and am kind of up and down (with my activity level), too. It seems if something comes up and I skip a day or two of exercise I'll be over eating, (doing the TDEE -15.) Thanks!

That's kind of what I've been thinking about doing. I'm set at my BMR right now...then eat back my exercise cals when I do exercise. For now anyway.......0

That's fine. I have my daily calories set to my cut value that way I don't worry about eating back exercise calories. You should really know your activity level though so you can be consistent everyday. No matter if you exercise or not on any particular day you should eat your cut value. Exercised is factored into that number.0

You could do that...however, the very minimum you want to net is your BMR, and its generally recommended to net a bit above. EM2WL recommends a modest cut of only 15%. I think it would be better to do a custom goal and set it up to TDEE-15%.0
