Friday - Birthday celebration with the ex and some old friends at a club for a birthday. Awesome DJ.
Saturday - Worked in the AM. Went to a wine/jazz event to fulfill my "New Summer's Resloution." Band wasn't very jazzy but the Sangria was ah-mazing and I was able to post up with my current book selection and relax. They did have the most tasty Belgium waffles which I topped with Nutella. hmmmmmm...
Saturday night - Sushi/Habatichi night out with the girls to say good bye to a dear friend who is moving back to the west coast. Then out for dancing and painting the town red till the wee hours of the morning.
Sunday - Spend with my neice and nephew at an annual work picnic of my ex's we attend every year. It is such a great time. Then, True Blood returned to me so my life was pretty satisfying this weekend.0 -
Spent a lot of time with family, hung out with friends Saturday night and flew to Michigan.0

Friday night drive in with a girlfriend. We saw Snow White and the Huntsmen and also Battleship. Havent stayed up until 3 AM like that in a long time! Saturday I got a haircut and headed to see Lady Antebellum in concert (Awesome, btw...). Sunday was church then brunch with the girls on the lake followed by Sunday evening summer pops with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. Busy weekend with my friend in town! Wouldn't change that yet I think I'm spending too much time on this forum because now I'm thinking about interactions with men all the time, haha.... and left wanting to makeout with someone at the drive in!!0

I chose parklife instead because I've been to download tooo many times. Kinda jealous I didn't see Ozzy again though that guy loves running round the stage!0 -

I was at a metal festival for the last 4 days, and I saw Black Sabbath (!!!), Anthrax and Metallica playing, amongst others.

^^^^^ I think I may have to despise you for a while because of this lol....
Well lets see we partied from thrusday through last night...Actually now that I think about it I partied from Monday through this Monday hmmm bad me ........As you guys know Navy turned out to be a conceited shallow King a$$hat.... FWB came back into town yesterday from NY and my phone started blowing up the minute he landed... I think I was missed lol. So he and I went out last night, we didnt plan on staying out super late but we lost track of time and ended up staying until the bar closed at 3... Then we went back to my house and he showed me just how much he had missed me lol.... Poor thing when my alarm clock went off this morning at 8 am he almost had a heart attack. He was like why are you getting up so early today (normally I'm not getting up til 930) and I told him I had a monthly coporate meeting at 830.. He tried to convince me to play hookie lol......
So I had 3 hours of sleep last night and rocked my meeting this morning......0 -

I had a great weekend. I flew in from a business trip changed quickly and met a new friend for a place where they have a live band and great food. We had a really great time we just met about a month ago.0

There was a 20 degree difference yesterday at 4pm between Austin and my home.0 -
In fairness, yesterday was a record temp day. I heard on the news this morning that it reached 101, which is about 10 degrees above the average for this time of year. But yeah, that is still hot.
