    Hi Everybody,

    I would love to join you all. I started cycle 1 on June 4th. I did the 17 Day Diet around this time last year and then took a break some month ago and now I am back on it and ready to get this weight off.

    Vietnamese Lettuce Wraps

    I made these Vietnamese lettuce wraps that were pretty tasty today. I had one slip though, and included some avocado which is not allowed on C1. But, equally good without.

    2-3 large washed lettuce leaves
    1 pkg Vientamese barbecue meat marinade. I found the Asian Home Gourmet brand in the International foods section of local grocery store
    1-2 chicken breasts - pounded thin
    sprouts

    Flatten chicken thin between pieces of parchment paper.
    Spread with marinade and leave for at least 2 hours (I left it overnight)

    Grill or fry chicken in non-stick pan without oil...there is enough in the marinade.
    Slice into thin strips and place on lettuce leaves, top with sprouts or other thinly sliced veggies (peppers and carrot would be great), and dip.

    Dip:
    1/2 c. plain greek yogurt
    1/4 c. finely chopped cilantro
    juce and zest of 1 lime

    Wrap up and enjoy!

    Hi! I am on D8C1. This is my second time doing the 17DD and I LOVE it!! Here are a few links that I use often. Just be careful, some of the recipes are not 100% 17DD approved, but you can adjust them to be!
