Question on workout timing

I am starting this program on Monday. Currently I do a lot of jogging/running in the am at the gym I have at work. It is harder for me to work out at home in the morning due to my toddler. I was thinking I would do my running in the am on mon-Thurs and do the am workouts in the evening on the days I have to do them. I really love running and hate to give it up. I know the schedule calls for you to do these in the am and cardio at night, but it shouldn't matter as long as I get them both, right? On the same note, do you think it woudl still be beneficial for me to jog for 30 miles/ 30 minutes instead of her cardio video on some days? I will still be doing the cardio video about 2-3 times per week.
Any advice would be helpful as I really do want great results from this!!
Also, I will not be following her meal plan. I eat pretty clean and will continue logging here.
Anyone doing the program that would like a new friend is welcome to add me. I love the accountability!!!

If you look at other posts, people have also substituted the cardio for running or other forms of cardio. As long as you're getting it in, I don't see how that would be not beneficial to you, especially since you're already a runner.0

You will be fine. I run instead of the videos. I actually trained for my 20k during the first 2 phases. I do not follow the meal
Plan and still have great results.0 -
Ultimately the best results come from actually doing the program, not what time you do it. Find a time that works for you and commit to do it. I do my second cardio often at 1030 in the evening before bed, because that is the time I can fit it in.0

I think you will be fine doing your running instead of cardio. I just did Cardio 2 yesterday and it was so high impact I dont think I will do it again. My shin was killing me yesterday. so on cardio days I will just walk/run! I dont think it matters when you get it in, JUST GET IT IN!0

I also don't do the cardio video on cardio days, I do the treadmill. It isn't required for you to exercise 2x a day throughout the program, only if you want to do the kickstart for one week. There are days that I do both, but it depends on how sore I am from the workout. Sounds like you'll be fine. enjoy!0
